Aluminium Alloy Protection Cover for DC Isolator Switch
This BYC-555 cover is formed from UV-resistant aluminium alloy, providing a robust enclosure for the isolator switch. It measures 555 mm long by 145 mm wide and 141 mm high, dimensions chosen to fully cover popular ZJ Beny switch bodies.

Installation Overview
The BYC-555 aluminium alloy cover is designed to easily enclose and protect DC isolator switches in solar PV systems. It ensures weather resistance and impact protection while complying with Australian standards (AS/NZS5033:2021).
Position the cover
- Align the aluminium cover so it fully encases the DC isolator switch from the inverter side.
- Ensure that the lever and label of the isolator switch remain accessible and visible through the front opening.
Slide into place
- Slide the cover over the installed DC isolator switch.
- The internal dimensions (145 mm width × 141 mm height × 555 mm length) are tailored to fit snugly over ZJBENY isolator models (e.g., BYSS, BYT series).
Secure the cover
- Use standard fasteners to attach the mounting points of the cover to the panel, wall, or backplate as required.

Cable clearance
