Yes. The Staubli ST-PV-KBT4 and ST-PV-KST4 are designed as part of the original MC4 family and mate with any standard MC4 connectors (Staubli or other brands) that follow the MC4 interface. Staubli specifies that these couplers should be used with “suitable mated connectors from the MC4 product family”. They form the same male/female plug pair as typical PV branch connectors, so they intermate with MC4 modules, junction boxes, and cables without issue.
Installation requires crimping the contact pins onto stripped PV cable conductors and then assembling the plug housing.
