Installation Requirements & Safety Guidelines

Installing the Deye hybrid inverter requires a safe, well-ventilated location. As an IP65-rated hybrid inverter, it can be mounted outdoors, but should be protected from direct sunlight, rain, snow, and excessive heat or humidity (>95%).

Mounting Instructions

  • Install on a vertical, load-bearing wall made of non-flammable material.
  • Keep at least 50 cm clearance on all sides and 100 cm in front for airflow.
  • Mount at eye level for easy access to the LCD display.
  • Avoid placing the three phase inverter near flammable materials, antennas, or in explosive environments.
  • If installing multiple units, leave 50 cm between inverters.

This deye inverter is heavy – use proper tools and two-person lifting during installation. Secure it using expansion bolts and ensure stable alignment.

Electrical & Battery Connections

  • Use a DC over-current protector between the battery and inverter.
  • Follow all local electrical codes and safety standards.
  • All wiring should be done with power off and by a qualified installer.
