Description

The Dyness commercial battery DH100F is a fully integrated commercial battery storage system designed for industrial PV installations. It combines a LiFePO₄ battery pack and a 50 kW hybrid inverter into one cabinet, simplifying system architecture and installation. The DH100F supports grid-tied or off-grid operation and can manage PV self-consumption, peak shaving and scheduled energy use. Its advanced thermal design and built-in BMS ensure consistent performance. With 100 kWh nominal capacity and a 10-year battery/BMS warranty, the DH100F delivers reliable solar backup and load-shifting for businesses.

Dyness Commercial Battery – DH100F

  • The DH100F is available in 71, 86 or 100 kWh versions and integrates an LFP battery bank (e.g. CATL prismatic cells) with a 50 kW hybrid inverter.
  • This all-in-one cabinet includes both battery and inverter, reducing installation complexity. Each unit is built for industrial use: the enclosure is IP55-rated and measures about 1200×1224×2258 mm (roughly 1700 kg).
  • Multiple DH100F cabinets can be paralleled via AC coupling to scale the system to multi-megawatt installations.

Key Features of Dyness Commercial Battery DH100F

  • Full-scenario: All-in-one multifunctional integration, supporting PV and generator access, grid-to-off-grid switching.
  • Ultimate security: Preventative fire strategy with three-level detection and TMG which ensure active firefighting remains effective in the event of a power outage.
  • Flexible expansion: 71~100 kwh capacity available for a single unit. Reserved DC expansion interface; Support AC expansion.
  • Highly efficient and low-cost: 280Ah LFP battery with high energy density. EMS Intelligent control. Modular design, backwards output method, reduce infrastructure cost.

Main Benefits

  • For Engineers: Simplified integration with built-in EMS/BMS and native Modbus/CAN support. The pre-engineered all-in-one design accelerates system modeling and deployment, reducing engineering time.
  • For EPCs: The single-cabinet solution (battery + inverter included) cuts wiring and material costs, leading to faster installs. Fewer separate components (fewer SKUs) and cluster-ready parallel expansion make project logistics and scaling simpler.
  • For Businesses: The Dyness commercial battery provides reliable backup power and on-site energy management. It enables solar self-consumption, peak shaving and backup loads to lower utility bills. With high cycle life and a 10-year warranty, businesses can achieve ROI within the system’s service life. The compact, rack-ready footprint also fits commercial sites efficiently.

Installation

Important Notice
All electrical installations must be carried out by a qualified electrical engineer. Always disconnect both AC and DC power before working. Ensure correct cable polarity and follow the approved wiring diagram. Avoid sand, moisture, or forceful pulling of cables to maintain insulation and performance integrity.

Site & Foundation Requirements

  • Location: Install in a dry, ventilated, non-residential area, away from trees, flammable or corrosive substances.
  • Foundation: Must support >3t/m² and be elevated 300–500 mm above ground to prevent flooding. Surface level deviation <3 mm/m².
  • Drainage: Ensure proper water diversion systems are in place.

Spatial Clearance

To guarantee ventilation and easy access for maintenance, reserve at least:

  • 800 mm in front
  • 600 mm behind
  • 500 mm left side
  • 300 mm right side

This supports optimal performance of the front-rear airflow design.

Mounting Procedure

  1. Inspect the cabinet and internal components for any damage before installation.
  2. Use the four pre-installed L-shaped angle brackets at the base.
  3. Mark drilling points, drill to appropriate depth, insert M12 expansion bolts, and secure brackets tightly.
  4. Open the door by unlocking and rotating the handle as per instructions.

This all-in-one cabinet design simplifies installation, reducing time and cost for EPCs and installers. The Dyness DH100F’s robust IP55-rated housing and intelligent layout make it a reliable choice for commercial solar battery storage.

Dyness

Dyness is a leading energy storage company (founded 2007) that has become a global R&D and manufacturing leader in solar battery systems. It produces a range of LiFePO₄ (LFP) battery systems — often marketed as Dyness commercial batteries — for residential and commercial use, with multi-GWh production capacity. Dyness commercial batteries are known for robust safety design and long warranties (e.g. 10-year battery and BMS warranty).

Prospective customers often search for “Dyness commercial battery review” or ask “are Dyness batteries good”; industry feedback tends to be positive about their quality and support. Dyness provides detailed documentation, including Dyness battery manuals and installation manuals, to help engineers and installers deploy their systems. In Australia, Dyness commercial battery pricing is handled by local distributors (quote basis); the DH100F is generally considered competitively priced among large commercial battery systems, offering great value given its all-in-one design.

What’s the usable energy output of the Dyness DH100F?

The DH100F nominally stores 100 kWh (DC); roughly 90% of that is typically usable (about 90 kWh) per cycle. Actual usable output depends on depth-of-discharge settings and efficiency losses, but you can expect on the order of 90 kWh available for daily use from a 100 kWh unit.

Can the DH100F operate in both grid-tied and off-grid modes?

Yes. The DH100F’s hybrid inverter and controller allow it to function in either mode. It supports grid-tied operation with PV and can automatically switch to standalone (off-grid) mode during outages. Dyness explicitly notes support for both on-grid and off-grid AC operation.

Is this system compatible with external solar inverters?

The DH100F includes its own inverter, so a separate solar inverter is not required to use the battery. It is AC-coupled (230/400V) and can integrate with other inverters on the same AC bus if needed. In practice, installers either use the DH100F’s built-in inverter for PV management, or tie additional PV inverters to the AC bus alongside it.

What safety certifications and protections does the DH100F include?

The DH100F is built to industrial safety standards. Its IP55-rated cabinet and C3 corrosion classification make it suitable for outdoor use. Inside, Dyness implements a multi-stage safety system: an advanced BMS constantly monitors cell conditions and will trigger shutdown if thresholds are exceeded. There is a three-stage fire detection and suppression strategy (with active venting and explosion-proof vents) to quickly mitigate thermal events. The unit carries CE certification and undergoes thorough testing for electrical and fire safety.

How does the Dyness DH100F price compare in the Australian market?

As a premium commercial storage system, the DH100F is typically sold on a quote basis via Australian distributors. Exact pricing depends on options, but it is generally competitive with other 100 kWh-class commercial batteries. It’s all-in-one design (with built-in inverter) and 10-year warranty often make it a cost-effective choice for C&I projects. Customers should request quotes from local Dyness-authorized installers or suppliers for current pricing.
