Description

The Deye Stacked Battery B0S-G is a modular solar battery system offering reliable energy storage for homes and businesses. Each Deye battery module provides 5.12 kWh of usable capacity using safe LiFePO₄ (LFP) cells. Modules are stackable batteries, letting you start with a smaller setup and expand as needed. You can combine up to 12 battery modules in one stack – scaling total storage from about 20.48 kWh to 61.44 kWh – to suit anything from residential solar backup to light commercial use. This flexible design makes it easy to right-size the battery bank for your project. 

Engineered as a hybrid battery solution, the Deye B0S-G works seamlessly with solar power systems and hybrid inverters. Its stackable module design means installation is simple: just stack modules in the dedicated cabinet. The system is fully scalable and can be adapted for various applications, whether you need a small home backup battery or a larger commercial battery storage setup. Deye Stacked Battery

The Deye Stacked Battery (B0S-G) system allows up to 12 battery modules to be stacked securely in a single cabinet. 

The Deye B0S-G stacked battery features a compact, stackable cabinet design built around standard 19-inch rack modules. Each module is a 51.2 V, 100 Ah battery module (5.12 kWh) that slots into the rack, connecting in series to create a high-voltage battery bank. The modules lock together with integrated connectors – no external cables needed between units – which makes the stacking method both safe and neat. A master control unit (high-voltage battery management box) sits at the top of the stack to manage the series-connected modules and provide a single interface to your inverter. 

In terms of capacity and physical design, the system is very scalable. A minimum of 4 modules (approx. 20.5 kWh) can be used for smaller installations, and up to 12 modules (61.44 kWh) can be stacked for large storage needs.

The entire assembly is enclosed in a sturdy cabinet with an IP65-rated enclosure, so it’s protected from dust and water – allowing indoor or outdoor installation. This stackable battery system is ideal for a wide range of use cases: from residential solar self-consumption and backup power, to small business energy storage, and even as part of larger commercial or industrial energy projects.

The plug-and-play modular design and natural cooling, fanless operation mean that installers can set it up quickly and it will run quietly and efficiently day-to-day.

What is the usable capacity of each battery module?

It communicates via CAN/RS485 with Deye inverter units for efficient charge/discharge control. This ensures smooth integration if you’re using a Deye inverter. (It may also be compatible with select third-party high-voltage inverters, but it’s optimized for Deye’s models.)

Can this battery be installed outdoors?

Yes. The Deye stacked battery comes with an IP65-rated enclosure, which means it is weather-resistant and suitable for outdoor installation. It’s protected against dust and can withstand rain and water jets. Many users install it in garages or outdoors on a slab – as long as it’s not submerged or exposed to extreme conditions, it will operate reliably in outdoor environments. (Indoor installation is of course also fine.)
