Description
The Swatten Stackable-Battery is a modular solar battery storage solution offered in 9.6kWh or 12.8kWh modules (models SieB-H9600-F and SieB-H12K8-F).
Each module provides around 9.6–12.8 kWh nominal capacity at roughly 51.2 V, using safe LiFePO4 (LFP) cells with an integrated battery management system (BMS) for long life.
The stackable design lets installers combine 3–8 modules (up to ~51 kWh) for scalable home or commercial solar storage. The unit is IP65-rated, allowing indoor or outdoor mounting, and built to Australian climate conditions (wide temperature range), making it ideal for residential battery or commercial solar battery installations. With over 95% round-trip efficiency and a 10-year warranty (6000+ cycles), the Swatten battery delivers robust, efficient solar energy storage.
In Australia the Swatten battery price is competitive – for example, the 9.6kWh module is priced in the mid-$6,000s (AUD), reflecting its high-quality components and warranty.
Swatten Stackable-Battery 9.6kWh or 12.8kWh
The SieB-H9600-F and SieB-H12K8-F are Swatten’s stackable battery modules (F1 Series), each containing 64V/50Ah LiFePO4 cells. Each module’s nominal energy is 9.60 kWh or 12.80 kWh (with roughly 8.64 kWh or 11.52 kWh usable energy).
The built-in BMS handles cell balancing and protection. Nominal module voltage is around 192–256 V (depending on internal cell count), allowing up to 8 modules in series (for ~50–60 kWh total). Each module is lightweight (120~155 kg) and measures ~615×360×175 mm (per unit) or taller when stacked. Key specs include IP65 weatherproof housing (suitable for indoor or outdoor installation) and operating temperature of –20°C to 50°C. Safety and compliance certifications is IEC 62619.
The stackable battery comes with a 10-year warranty, reflecting its durable construction and long cycle life (6000 cycles).

Installation Swatten Stackable-Battery
Proper installation of the Swatten Stackable-Battery is key to ensuring safe operation, long-term performance, and optimal integration with your solar battery system. This guide outlines the required conditions, tools, and step-by-step process for setting up your stackable battery in residential or commercial environments.
Installation Requirements
To ensure the reliable performance of your Swatten battery, please follow these guidelines:
- Environment: Choose a sheltered, well-ventilated location protected from direct sunlight, rain, snow, and corrosive substances. Indoor or outdoor installation is supported (IP65-rated).
- Mounting Surface: The wall or support surface must be flat, fireproof, and strong enough to bear the weight of multiple stacked modules.
- Positioning: Install each module vertically with no tilt. Keep the system out of children’s reach and at least 30 m away from any wireless devices operating below 30 MHz.
- Altitude & Clearance: Installation site must be below 2000 m above sea level. Maintain clearance on all sides of the solar battery stack to allow sufficient airflow for heat dissipation.
Tools & Equipment Needed
Before you begin installation, prepare the following tools and accessories:
- Expansion bolts & mounting brackets (included)
- Adjustable feet (included)
- Electric drill & screwdriver
- Spirit level for base leveling
- Marker for drilling positions
- Safety gear: gloves, closed-toe shoes
Swatten provides the mounting hardware in the box. All components are engineered for compatibility with each Swatten stackable-battery model.
Battery Installation Process
Setting up your Swatten stackable system involves the following steps:
Step 1: Attach the adjustable feet to the battery base. Ensure the base is stable and level.
Step 2: Position the base against the wall. Use a marker to note drilling points. Remove the base before drilling.
Step 3: Drill the marked holes and insert expansion bolts.
Step 4: Secure the base to the wall. Then place the first battery module on the base, aligning it properly.
Step 5: Stack additional modules (up to 8 total) by aligning and locking them in sequence. Attach wall brackets on opposite sides for enhanced stability.
Step 6: Mount the PCU (Power Control Unit) on top of the battery stack and tighten inter-module screws.
Step 7: Remove the terminal cover to prepare for the final electrical connection phase.
By following these instructions, your Swatten stackable-battery will be securely installed and ready for reliable service in your energy storage system. For hybrid system setups, this battery integrates smoothly with Swatten inverters and other CAN/RS485-compatible hybrid inverters on the market.

Swatten
Swatten is a subsidiary of Sieyuan Electric (stock code 002028) that focuses on energy storage systems and hybrid solar inverters for residential and small-scale commercial clients. As a hybrid inverter brand, Swatten leverages Sieyuan’s decades of power electronics expertise to deliver reliable solar battery products.
Their portfolio includes single-phase and three-phase hybrid inverters and modular battery packs (rack-mounted and stackable batteries). Swatten’s products (including stackable batteries) are sold globally (Europe, Middle East, Oceania, etc.) and have earned industry recognition for safety and performance.
In industry reviews, Swatten batteries are often praised for their reliability and value. The Swatten 9.6kWh battery cost in Australia is balanced by its 10-year warranty and advanced LiFePO4 chemistry, making Swatten a strong choice for both home and commercial solar storage projects.
Yes. Swatten batteries use standard CAN and RS485 communication interfaces (and can also work with the Swatten 1-phase/3-phase hybrid inverters). As long as the inverter supports a CAN/RS485 battery connection (common on most modern hybrid inverters), a Swatten stackable battery will integrate easily.
Each Swatten stackable system supports up to 3–8 modules (depending on model) for a total of 28.8–51.2 kWh, giving a wide range of system sizes. For example, 3 modules yield ~28.8 kWh and 8 modules ~51.2 kWh of nominal energy. The exact limit depends on your inverter’s specifications.
These LiFePO4 batteries are very long-lived. They are rated for over 6000 cycles at 80% depth of discharge, which typically equates to well over 15 years of daily cycling. Swatten backs the modules with a 10-year warranty, reflecting the high cycle life of the cells.
Yes. The units are IP65-rated (dust-tight and weatherproof), so they can be mounted outdoors or in a garage/shed. The operating temperature range (–20°C to +50°C for discharge) is suitable for Australian climates, though very extreme cold or heat may benefit from some sheltering.
The 9.6kWh module is priced around the mid-$6,000 AUD range (excl. GST) from Australian suppliers, which is competitive for a high-quality LiFePO4 stackable battery. Given its 10-year warranty and 6000+ cycle life, the overall value is very strong compared to similar residential and commercial batteries.
